Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony prawie w całej Europie od Wysp Brytyjskich i północnych prowincji Fennoskandii przez całą środkową część kontynentu aż do Francji i północnych Włoch. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk, rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju. Przeważnie występuje lokalnie, ale w miejscach pojawu na ogół w dużej liczbie osobników. Żyje w gniazdach jaskółki brzegówki — Riparia riparia (L.). Szczególnie licznie można go łowić jesienią po opuszczeniu gniazd przez ptaki albo w pobliżu gniazd, w piasku, wśród roślin u podstawy skarp lub pionowych stoków.
