Taxon description
Mało znany gatunek pontyjski, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w Bułgarii, na zachodnim Podolu, Słowacji, Węgrzech, w Polsce, Austrii Dolnej, Karyntii i północnym Tyrolu. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w pięciu krainach południowych. Bionomia tego ryjkowca jest słabo poznana. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano wszędzie w niewielu okazach, od kwietnia do sierpnia; w Pieninach na suchej łące (Petryszak 1981).
