Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony od południowej części północnej Europy aż do północnej Afryki, wykazywany również z Azji Mniejszej, Kaukazu i zachodniej Syberii. Zamieszkuje otwarte, suche tereny, porośnięte głównie roślinnością trawiastą i zielną oraz rzadko rozstawionymi krzewami lub młodymi drzewami, szczególnie na glebach piaszczystych i żwirowatych. Zwykle poławiany pojedynczo na różnych roślinach zielnych lub na niżej położonych gałęziach drzew i krzewów.
