Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie północną i środkową Europę, na zachód docierający do Belgii, wschodniej Francji i Szwajcarii. W Polsce rzadko spotykany, znany tylko z 6 krain. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i górzyste, gdzie występuje do górnej granicy lasu. Żyje pod korą gałęzi sosen i świerków, w żerowiskach małych korników z rodzajów rytownik — Pityogenes Bedel i wgryzoń — Cryphalus Er. Spotykany również w stosach chrustu, na sągach drzewa oraz na powierzchniach przekroi poprzecznych pni i pniaków.
