Taxon description
Gatunek górski, rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany w środkowej części Europy, znany dotychczas z Pirenejów, Alp, Szwarcwaldu, Karyntii i słowackich Karpat. W Polsce wykazany niedawno z jednego stanowiska w Bieszczadach na wysokości około 470 m n.p.m. Jeden osobnik tego chrząszcza był schwytany 14 IX 1968 r. wśród mchów nad brzegiem potoku w parowie leśnym.
