Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
[KFP 1325: Lesteva monticola] Gatunek borealno-górski, znany z Wysp Brytyjskich, Skandynawii, Alp, Sudetów, Karpat, gór Francji, Bośni i Grecji. Znajdowany w ściółce i wśród mchów.

[KFP 1326: Lesteva nivicola] Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej Europie, poza tym znany z nielicznych stanowisk w Holandii, Belgii, Szwajcarii i północnych Włoszech. Z Polski dotąd nie podawany, na pewno szerzej rozsiedlony. Występuje na obszarach górzystych docierając do strefy subalpejskiej. Znajdowany nad potokami wśród mchów przy wyciekach wodnych.
