Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w południowej i środkowej Europie, notowany również z Danii i Wysp Brytyjskich. W Polsce rzadko znajdowany. Występuje na nizinnych obszarach zwłaszcza w dolinach rzecznych. Żyje w różnego typu drobnych zbiornikach wodnych.
