Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich, Fennoskandii i Karelii przez środkową część Europy aż do Hiszpanii, północnych części Włoch i Jugosławii, Bułgarii i Ukrainy; wykazywany poza tym z Kaukazu. W Polsce występuje od Bałtyku aż po Tatry, nie jest jednak notowany jeszcze z ośmiu krain. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i górzyste, docierając w Alpach do wysokości około 2400 m n.p.m. Poławiany od maja do sierpnia, najczęściej w lipcu, na polanach śródleśnych i pobrzeżach lasu na krzewach, krzaczastych drzewach i kwitnących lipach.
