Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w Europie od Wysp Brytyjskich, południowych prowincji Fennoskandii i Karelii po Pireneje, Sardynię, środkowe Włochy, Macedonię i Kaukaz, na wschód przez Syberię docierający do Japonii. W Polsce występuje zapewne w całym kraju, ale nie jest jeszcze znany z wielu krain. Żeruje na rdeście ptasim — Polygonum aviculare L. oraz na szczawiach — Rumex L.
