Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej części Europy, na południe docierający do północnych Włoch, wykazywany poza tym z Wysp Brytyjskich, południowej części Fennoskandii, Kaukazu i Azji Mniejszej. W Polsce pospolity, występuje od Bałtyku aż po Tatry. Jako rośliny pokarmowe postaci dojrzałych piśmiennictwo podaje kilkadziesiąt roślin, w tym kilkanaście należących do krzyżowych, spośród których, gorczyca polna — Sinapsis arvensis L. ma być rośliną na której rozwijają się larwy.
