Taxon description
Gatunek eurosyberyjski, na wschód docierający do Mongolii, Chin i Kraju Nadmorskiego; w Europie szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od krajów śródziemnomorskich aż do południowych części Anglii, Fennoskandii i Karelii, notowany ponadto z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i Turkiestaim. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie znany jeszcze z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i przedgórza. Postacie dojrzałe ukazują się w kwietniu i poławiano je do czerwca przeważnie na miejscach piaszczystych i wrzosowiskach.
