Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Gatunek zachodnio-palearktyczny, znany z całej Europy, północnej Afryki i Bliskiego Wschodu. Żyje w warunkach zbliżonych do wymagań Meta menardi (Latr.), wybiera jednak miejsca bardzo wilgotne.
