Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający wschodnią część Alp, góry republik niemieckich i Sudety Zachodnie. Niedawno znaleziony również w Górach Świętokrzyskich. Jako rośliny żywicielskie były podawane różne gatunki z rodzaju kosmatka — Luzula De Cand., najczęściej kosmatka licznokwiatowa — L. multiflora (Retz.) i k. olbrzymia — L. silvatica Huds.
