Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w środkowej i południowo-wschodniej części Europy, na północ docierający do Danii, południowych prowincji Fennoskandii oraz Karelii, notowany także z Syberii Zachodniej. W Polsce wykazywany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Zasiedla zmurszałe i przegrzybiałe, drewno, głównie w dziuplach drzew liściastych. Cykl rozwojowy dwuletni. Zimuje tylko larwa. Przepoczwarzenie następuje wiosną. Postacie dojrzałe ukazują się w maju i czerwcu i poławiane są do lipca, na ogół rzadko i nielicznie.
