Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1980:

Gatunek występujący w prawie całej Europie, na północy przekraczający koło podbiegunowe, notowany nadto z północnej Afryki i Kaukazu. W Polsce występuje od Bałtyku aż po Tatry, jednak brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain. Znajdowany przeważnie na wilgotnych siedliskach leśnych, na torfowiskach i wrzosowiskach, w liściastej ściółce, pod mchem i w gnijących grzybach, niekiedy na polach i łąkach pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi; także w ubogich borach sosnowych na piaszczystych glebach.
