Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w Podobszarze Śródziemnomorskim oraz w południowej części środkowej Europy. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, notowany z trzech krain zachodnich oraz Mazowsza. Rośliną żywicielską jest prawdopodobnie kurzyślad polny — Anagallis arvensis L., gdyż donoszono o wyhodowaniu jednego osobnika z larwy minującej w liściu tej rośliny.
