Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek europejsko-syberyjski, rozsiedlony od środkowych części Hiszpanii, Włoch i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego aż do południowych prowincji Fennoskandii, na wschód sięga do Amuru na Syberii, notowany również z Kaukazu i Iranu. W Polsce dość rzadko i pojedynczo łowiony. Żyje w strefie trzcin na pobrzeżach wód eutroficznych.
