Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek zachodniopalearktyczny, zamieszkujący zwarcie głównie południową Europę, z Europy Środkowej znany z nielicznych stanowisk, z Fennoskandii wykazany tylko z trzech prowincji w środkowej Szwecji, ponadto notowany z Azji Mniejszej i Kaukazu. Żyje wyłącznie na kserotermicznych stanowiskach nad stojącymi, eutroficznymi wodami, silnie nagrzewającymi się w lecie.
