Taxon description
Gatunek górski, wykazywany z Alp Wschodnich, Sudetów, Beskidów Karpat, Siedmiogrodu i północnych Bałkanów. Wszędzie bardzo rzadko spotykany. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w Sudetach i Beskidach, ale uzupełniające dane ze zbiorów wskazują na szersze jego rozsiedlenie w południowej części kraju. Występuje w lasach górskich i podgórskich, najczęściej w lasach bukowych — na suchych gałęziach, starych hubach, pod odstającą korą i pod przegrzybiałym opadłym listowiem.
