Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek europejski, szeroko rozmieszczony od Wysp Brytyjskich, Fennoskandii i Karelii przez całą Europę środkową aż do Włoch północnych i Siedmiogrodu. Na ogół występuje lokalnie, przy czym w obrębie swego areału częściej spotykany na wschodzie oraz na terenach górzystych. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju. Rozwój odbywa w murszejącym drewnie, głównie gałęzi drzew liściastych rzadziej iglastych. Postacie dojrzałe przezimowują; znajdowane zwykle pod przegrzybiałą korą, w suchych gałęziach, hubach i próchnicy leśnej.
