Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący środkową i południową Europę, notowany ponadto z Danii oraz południowych części Szwecji i Finlandii, z Kaukazu oraz Syberii. W Polsce, chociaż nie znany jeszcze z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie wszędzie na niżu i w niższych położeniach górskich. Występuje w widnych lasach i zaroślach. Żyje na groszku wiosennym — Lathyrus vernus (L.) Bernh, i groszku skrzydlatym — L. montanus Bernh. Larwy żerują w strączkach.
