Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w niemal całej Europie z wyjątkiem skrajnych obszarów północnych, docierający na wschód przez Syberię aż do Japonii. W Polsce prócz wysokich gór występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, aczkolwiek nie jest notowany z wielu krain. Występuje na wilgotnych, lesistych terenach. Chrząszcze są poławiane w zmurszałym drewnie drzew iglastych i liściastych oraz na trawach, roślinach zielnych i krzewach.
