Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w północno-wschodniej części Europy, w Fennoskandii sięga do koła podbiegunowego, a na wschód dociera do Syberii. Najpospolitszy gatunek omawianego rodzaju, w Polsce spotykany na terenach nizinnych i pagórkowatych głównie w środkowej i północnej części kraju. Znajdowany w chodnikach chrząszczy podkorowych na sośnie, świerku i jodle, rzadziej pod korą topoli.
