Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowej Fennoskandii przez środkową i południową Europę aż do północnej Afryki, wykazywany ponadto z Kaukazu. Z Polski znany zaledwie z kilku stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Żyje wśród butwiejących szczątków roślinnych, w zimie znajdowany między liśćmi w gniazdach kretów i gryzoni, notowany również z jaskiń, kurników i pryzm kompostowych.
