Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu; poza Polską jest podawany jeszcze z Czechosłowacji, Austrii, Jugosławii i Rumunii. U nas chrząszcz ten należy do wielkich rzadkości i jest znany dotychczas tylko z dwu stanowisk. Bionomia i wymagania środowiskowo nic są znane. Na Morawach znaleziono go w szopie z sianem.
