Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek europejski, rozprzestrzeniony w prawie całej Europie, z wyjątkiem północnej części Fennoskandii, ponadto notowany z Azji Mniejszej. W Polsce od niedawna notowany. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych, docierając do strefy subalpejskiej. Poławiany w lasach i na otwartych, wilgotnych terenach, pod opadłym listowiem, odstającą korą, kamieniami, wśród mchów i gnijącej roślinności.
