Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1980:

Gatunek rozmieszczony od Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii i południowej Szwecji przez całą środkową Europę aż do krajów śródziemnomorskich, na wschód przez Azję Mniejszą sięgający do Iranu i Afganistanu. W Polsce spotykany sporadycznie i dość rzadko zarówno na niżu, jak i w górach. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i podgórza, głównie otwarte miejsca na polach i łąkach. Poławiany przeważnie w pryzmach kompostowych i pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
