Gatunek górski o zasięgu ograniczonym do Pirenejów, Masywu Centralnego we Francji i Karpat (góry Inowiec w Czechosłowacji i Czarnohora w Ukraińskiej SRR). W Polsce z całą pewnością jeszcze nie został stwierdzony, a ogólnikowa wzmianka o występowaniu w Galicji opierała się zapewne na stanowisku leżącym poza naszą granicą wschodnią (Czarnohora w Karpatach Wschodnich). Wymagania ekologiczne i bionomia nie są znane.
Wymieniony przez Jakobsona (1911) z Galicji. Występuje blisko naszych granic, w Słowacji, w górach Inovec i w Czarnohorze w Karpatach Ukraińskich (Dahlgren 1968, 1972). Ostatnio potwierdzony przez dolina i Sergijenko (1988) w szczytowych partiach Karpat Ukraińskich. Jest też znany z francuskich Pirenejów. Istnieje możliwość znalezienia go w Bieszczadach lub w Beskidzie Niskim.
