Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w środkowej i północnej Europie, w Skandynawii sięgający do koła podbiegunowego, na wschód docierający do zachodniej Syberii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Wątpliwości K. Letznera (1886) o występowaniu omawianego gatunku koło Legnicy i w ogóle na Śląsku nie mają uzasadnienia, gdyż znajdowano go niejednokrotnie na Śląsku Dolnym. Uważany przez niektórych badaczy za gatunek torfowiskowy, zasiedlający zarówno obszary niżowe jak i podgórza. Znajdowany w ściółce, pod opadłym listowiem i wśród mchów na bagnistych łąkach, mokradłach leśnych, w olszynach i borach bagiennych.
