Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Mało znany gatunek, stosunkowo niedawno opisany, podobny do bardzo pospolitego Stilbus atomarius (L.), notowany dotychczas z Niemiec, Austrii, Moraw, Słowacji, Macedonii, Włoch i Grecji. W Polsce stwierdzony na pojedynczych stanowiskach w dwu krainach. Bionomia nie jest znana. Według danych z obszaru Niemiec występuje głównie na bagnistych brzegach jezior, bagnistych łąkach i w dolinach rzecznych. W Polsce obserwowany na stanowiskach o charakterze kserotermicznym. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano zwykle na trawach i roślinach zielnych, wśród szczątków roślinnych leżących na ziemi i w próchnicznej warstwie gleby.
