Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w południowej i zachodniej części Europy oraz w południowej części Europy środkowej; wszędzie bardzo rzadko i sporadycznie znajdowany. Występowanie w Polsce wymaga potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami, gdyż dane o występowaniu we Wrocławiu oparte są na wzmiance K. Letznera sprzed przeszło stu lat. Spotykany na przegrzybiałym drewnie i pod odstającą korą drzew liściastych, zwłaszcza w sąsiedztwie gniazd mrówek Lasius brunneus (Latr.).
