Taxon description
Gatunek europejski. Żyje w ściółce lasów liściastych, głównie bukowych. Czasem znajdowany także na torfowiskach wysokich i w mrowiskach. Dane o występowaniu tego gatunku nie zawsze są pewne, szczególnie u starszych autorów, gdyż był on często mylony z Lepthyphantes tenuis (Bl.).
