Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek wykazywany z południowej i środkowej Europy. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany, złowiony pod koniec zeszłego wieku i od tego czasu powtórnie nie stwierdzony. Wzmiankę o występowaniu omawianego gatunku na Śląsku opatruje A. Horion (1963) znakiem zapytania z powodu braku okazów dowodowych oraz nowszych doniesień. Poławiany przeważnie pod napływkami na pobrzeżach wód płynących.
