Gatunek znany z Francji, Holandii, Szwecji, Niemiec, Szwajcarii, Włoch, Jugosławii, Czechosłowacji, Rumunii i europejskiej części ZSRR. Żyje w suchych i widnych lasach iglastych, w ściółce, wśród mchu i porostów.
