Taxon description
Gatunek opisany z Austrii przed przeszło 150 laty, ale od 1910 r. w tym kraju nie znajdowany; szeroko rozsiedlony w północnej części Palearktyki od Europy przez Syberię aż do Kraju Nadmorskiego. W Europie bardzo rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany; notowany dotychczas z nielicznych, znacznie rozproszonych stanowisk w Niemczech, Słowacji, na Węgrzech, we Włoszech i w Rumunii. W Polsce odkryto niedawno w zbiorach Muzeum i Instytutu Zoologii PAN cztery okazy, które były złowione przed około 50 i 40 laty na obszarze Warszawy w Lesie Bielańskim. Gatunek związany z biotopami leśnymi; poławiany na przegrzybiałym drewnie i na owocnikach grzybów nadrzewnych.
