Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
Gatunek palearktyczny, rozsiedlony w prawie całej Europie prócz skrajnych obszarów północnych. W Polsce występuje pospolicie od Bałtyku aż po Tatry. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i górzyste do wysokości około 1500 m n.p.m. Występuje w zaroślach i lasach liściastych, na wyrębach i polanach śródleśnych, w parkach i na drzewach przydrożnych. Zimuje w ściółce pod opadłym listowiem.
