Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w prawie całej Europie, w Fennoskandii dociera do skrajnych prowincji północnych. W Polsce występuje na całym obszarze, zwykle znajdowany pojedynczo, w górach dochodzi do regla górnego. Spotykany przeważnie na padlinie, rzadziej w norach ssaków lub w przedsionkach jaskiń.
