Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej Europie i zachodniej części środkowej Europy, notowany nadto z południowych części Szwecji i Finlandii oraz z Karelskiej SRR. Występowanie omawianego gatunku w Polsce wymaga potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami, gdyż dotychczasowe wzmianki o występowaniu w Sudetach i na Śląsku opierają się tylko na jednym okazie jakoby znalezionym w Górach Kłodzkich (Gerhardt 1907b, 1910). Ogólnikowe wiadomości o występowaniu w Prusach i na Pomorzu odnoszą się do stanowisk leżących poza naszymi granicami. Spotykany późną jesienią na pastwiskach w powierzchniowej warstwie ekskrementów krowich i końskich.
