Taxon description
Gatunek występujący głównie w środkowej części Europy, wykazywany ponadto z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii, Szwecji, południowej Finlandii i zachodniej Syberii. W Polsce dopiero niedawno odkryty. Notowany ogólnikowo z Prus (Schilsky 1888) na podstawie znalezisk koło Kaliningradu (RFSRR). Występuje w norach nadwodnych gryzoni i kretów.
