Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej Europie, Azji Mniejszej i północnej Afryce. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i w górach, gdzie dochodzi do regla dolnego. Spotykany przeważnie w wodach wolno płynących.
