Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek rozpowszechniony w prawie całej Europie, sięgający na północy daleko poza koło polarne. W Polsce znany z pojedynczych rozproszonych stanowisk zarówno na północy, jak i południu kraju. Zasiedla tereny lesiste, zwłaszcza lasy bukowe, znajdowany pod zbutwiałą korą starych drzew, w hubach nadrzewnych i pod opadłymi liśćmi.
