Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

[KFP — (1002b): Agathidium magnum] Gatunek o niepewnym stanowisku systematycznym. Ogólnikowo, na podstawie nie znanych nam źródeł, wykazany z Polski jedynie przez M. H. Hatcha w ogólnoświatowym katalogu poświęconym rodzinie Leiodidae.

Burakowski et al. 1978:

[KFP 1006: Agathidium sphaerulum] Gatunek znany z zachodniej, środkowej i północnej Europy, w Fennoskandii docierający do skrajnych, północnych prowincji, wykazywany również z północnych Włoch i Kaukazu. W Polsce znaleziony tylko w zachodniej części kraju. Znajdowany na pobrzeżach lasu, oraz na hubach porastających stare pnie i pieńki.

Burakowski et al. 1978:

[KFP 998: Agathidium atratum] Rozmieszczenie gatunku niedostatecznie poznane, gdyż do niedawna często mylony był z innymi gatunkami, notowany głównie z środkowej Europy. Zasiedla zarówno tereny nizinne, jak i górzyste sięgając do regla górnego. Znajdowany w ściółce, pod opadłymi liśćmi i w spróchniałych drzewach.
