Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek zamieszkujący całą Europę południową i środkową, wykazywany również z zachodniej części Afryki Północnej i Zakaukazia oraz jako odrębny podgatunek z Syrii. W Polsce spotykany sporadycznie w południowej części kraju, zarówno na niżu jak i w górach. Rozwija się w gałęziach dębu; larwy żerują w korze i pod korą. Imago poławiano od połowy czerwca do sierpnia.
