Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący całą środkową część Europy, notowany też z Francji, Belgii, Holandii i Karelskiej ASRR. W Polsce znany na ogół z pojedynczych stanowisk w niewielu krainach, tylko na Śląsku Dolnym łowiony w kilku miejscowościach. Występuje w podziemnych chodnikach i gniazdach królików, rzadziej lisów i kretów, pojedynczo znajdowany na martwych ptakach.
