Burakowski et al. 1991:

Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem zachodnią, środkową i południową część Europy prócz strefy roślinności śródziemnomorskiej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk; notowany z okolic Przemyśla i sześciu krain położonych w zachodniej części kraju. Na Dolnym Śląsku pospolity na wilgotnych łąkach typu Molinietalia. Żeruje na krwiściągu lekarskim — Sanguisorba officinalis L.
