Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w Europie Środkowej, znany również z północnych części Francji i Włoch; na północy dochodzi do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowej części Fennoskandii, na wschód do Uralu (notowany również z Syberii). Żyje na suchych glebach piaszczystych i piaszczysto-żwirowych, najczęściej na obszarach morenowych pokrytych płatami wrzosu zwyczajnego — Calluna vulgaris (L.) Salisb., mącznicą lekarską — Arctostaphylos uva-ursi L. oraz rzadko porośniętymi kępkami traw.
