Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający głównie południową i zachodnią część Europy, nie znany z północnej części kontynentu. Wymagania środowiskowe, jak się zdaje, ma podobne do wymagań Amara (Zezea) fulvipes Serv., w którego towarzystwie był znajdowany we Francji, Włoszech i w Szwajcarii. Stanowisko na Śląsku Dolnym jak i występowanie w Polsce wymaga potwierdzenia, tym bardziej, że dotychczas nie znany z Czechosłowacji i Węgier.
