Taxon description
Szeroko rozpowszechniony w prawie całej Palearktyce, wykazywany od Irlandii aż do Japonii, w Fennoskandii przekracza koło podbiegunowe, południowa granica występowania przebiega przez Pireneje, północne Włochy, Jugosławię, Rumunię, Ukraińską SRR, południową Syberię, północne Chiny i Kraj Ussuryjski. Pospolity gatunek eurytopowy na otwartych, słabo ocienionych obszarach, lubi wilgotne gleby piaszczysto-gliniaste, spotykany częściej na ugorach niż na glebach uprawianych.
