Szelegiewicz 1968:
Prawdopodobnie szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie, ale do niedawna nie odróżniany od podgatunku nominatywnego.
Podgatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Monofag na malinie — Rubus idaeus L. Żeruje na spodniej stronie liści i na młodych pędach. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
