Jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na czubkach pędów i na spodniej stronie liści różnych jeżyn — Rubus suberectus Anders., Rubus fissus Ldl., Rubus plicatus W. et N., Rubus caesius L. Nie żyje na malinach!
